3rd Annual Sleigh Ride Event a Huge Success, Thank you!!

What an amazing holiday season. I still can’t believe how successful our event was, both in terms of attendance just how much fun it really was! The weather was mild before our first day of scheduled sleigh rides and that meant rain (which just about gave me an ulcer) but the snow came just in time, thank goodness. We added another team of horses to the family and it was a good thing we did! Our attendance increased from 1700 guests in 2018 to over 2300 in 2019. 4 sleighs were running non-stop for all 8 days. The pony rides and farm animals were a big hit too. Ottercrest Farms, our new venue, was amazing to work with and we will be back to the same location in 2020. Thank you everyone who made the trip out to Armstrong for our Christmas sleigh ride event. Thank you to our horses, teamsters, shotguns, staff, volunteers, and sponsors. I am proud to say we supported another charitable organization, this time the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs, and that makes 3 years in a row of charitable giving. Isn’t that what it’s all about? Let’s keep the tradition going and see you next Christmas! The horses will be ready and waiting…
